Dr. Winter began her career in Sports Medicine while completing her Bachelor of Science degree in Human Biology and Pre-Medicine at Biola University. After her basketball career ended prematurely due to a back injury, she joined the school’s Athletic Training Program in 1998. She has since worked with a wide variety of athletes and sports teams, from young children to semi-professional athletes.

Dr. Winter is currently enrolled in a Master’s Degree program in Nutritional Science, which she believes will bring a valuable addition to her practice, allowing her to be current in injury treatment methods and nutritional supplementation that will enhance recovery time and the overall health of her patients.

Certified Kinesio Taping Practitioner – Kinesio Taping Association
Approved Medical Provider – North Coast Section Office/ Children’s Hospital, Oakland

Dr. Winter also holds a vocational education teaching credential in Athletic Training, and has been recognized by Who’s Who Among American Teachers and Outstanding American Teachers as an exceptional educator.
